Trail Dust Town – Tuscon, AZ

Last week, four filmmakers – Bryan Manning, Brook Linder, Gregory Shultz and Alex Crowder – went on location in Tuscon, AZ to practice shooting Western action sequences with the Pinnacle Peak Pistoleros of Trail Dust Town!

Trail Dust Town - Tuscon, AZ (2012)

Packed with (2) Canon EOS T2i, (1) Canon EOS T3i, (2) Canon EOS 7D, (1) Canon EOS 5D Mark II, a couple Manfrotto tripods, an assortment of Canon EF glass, and A LOT of canned air, the filmmakers spent three days with the cast and crew of the Pinnacle Peak Wild West Stunt Show setting up explosions, flips, falls, gun fights and chaos – all shot in slow motion at 60fps.

Ghoul School KickStarter!

Brook Linder and Gregory Shultz have penned a short script about being friends in high school. It’s all true. Especially the part where a construction worker is brutally murdered by the spirit of a former principal.

It’s called Ghoul School.

Production of the short film is set to start late February as a senior thesis project for the Electronic Arts program at Missouri State University. The 20 minute short will be shot on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with brand new Zeiss ZF.2 primes. The crew is currently raising money via KickStarter to secure and rent additional equipment, props, wardrobe, and special effects to bring this 80s-nostalgic flick to life.

Ghoul School will premiere May 2012.
